The story of Led R

The rock band Led R is an ambitious union, bringing together five well-known Estonian musicians. The band members are veteran musicians and cultural figures and have toured both Western and Eastern Europe for over 30 years before coming together to form Led R.

Led R was formed in 2003 with the idea of interpreting the music of legendary Led Zeppelin. Led Zeppelin influenced generations in every corner of the globe - Estonia being no exception.

Led R is not a ?tribute band,? and it does not numbly copy the music of Led Zeppelin. Led R interprets the music, bringing to bear its own world view, the personal experiences of the band, and their previous work as musicians. This gives the music its own new life, predominantly as powerful rock, but with a sophisticated touch which manifests itself in improvisation and spontaneous self-expression.
